Lots of times when there’s a cache problem, the recommendation is to ‘clear your cache’, ‘delete cookies’, ‘delete browsing history’, etc. The reason I hesitate to do this is because I don’t want to lose ALL of my browsing history. Imagine having to dig out those logins and passwords again for all of the sites you frequent.

So when I was faced with the cache situation again recently, I thought there must be a way to clear it for just one website. I found this article on PitDesigns that was exactly what I needed. On Chrome, it’s located under Developer Tools. In this mode, the Reload button develops a drop-down, which reveals an ‘Empty cache and hard reload’ option. Voila! Thank you, Ninos, from PitDesigns.
